Fast food wasn’t a big part of my childhood. My mom always cooked home made food. The only time I really ate fast food that I remember as a child was when I did something good in school. There was occasional times when my mom or dad didn’t want to cook so we would go a burger or something. If we did go get fast food it was either a McDonalds or carls jr. I always got a kids meal when I went just because of the toy. As a child I didn’t really know what to think. I just knew I was getting chicken nuggets and a toy.
I think my fast food habits haven’t really changed. The only time I really eat fast food is late night and get jack in the box tacos or when I play far for baseball after a game im really hungry. I don’t rely on it at all. Its just good how there’s places open 24 hours a day and it’s a quick pick me up.
I also grew up eating home cooked meals. I think they are much healithier for you.
ReplyDeleteI also mostly had home cooked meals as a kid.
ReplyDeleteNothing beats a home cooked meal. The fast food is not always that good for you anyways.
ReplyDeleteI so remember my days rolling on into Jack in the Box for the 2 for .99 cent Tacos. Six tacos for three bucks, how can you beat that fried goodness, haha. Plus when your leaving the club and on a budget at 1:30 a.m. who better to give you a cheap meal than good ol’ Jack.
ReplyDeleteMy mother cooked everyday too. She still does!
