Fast food wasn’t a big part of my childhood. My mom always cooked home made food. The only time I really ate fast food that I remember as a child was when I did something good in school. There was occasional times when my mom or dad didn’t want to cook so we would go a burger or something. If we did go get fast food it was either a McDonalds or carls jr. I always got a kids meal when I went just because of the toy. As a child I didn’t really know what to think. I just knew I was getting chicken nuggets and a toy.
I think my fast food habits haven’t really changed. The only time I really eat fast food is late night and get jack in the box tacos or when I play far for baseball after a game im really hungry. I don’t rely on it at all. Its just good how there’s places open 24 hours a day and it’s a quick pick me up.

                        Past, Present, Future

My name is Dominique Guevara, I am 20 years old. I was born on October 30th 1992, here in Oxnard at st. johns hospital. I went to Richard bard elementary school, E.O. Green junior high school, and Hueneme high school. I started playing baseball when I was age four. As a child I had ten surgeries. Nine of those were on my ears and the other was when I was five and broke my left arm in two places because I fell off the top of the monkey bars. Before the fall, I used to be left handed but I trained myself to do everything right handed.

I am currently enrolled full time at Oxnard Community College. I work part time for harbor rail services which does contract work for the railroad. I also am a baseball player at Oxnard College. I’ve been at Oxnard for the last two years but before that I spent a year at Moorpark College. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with friends, playing poker, and watching sports.

I plan on finishing up my AA degree during this year. After college I plan on going into the police academy and hopefully become a police officer in the city of Oxnard or Ventura. I hope to be chief of police later on down the road. I also plan on having a family of my own.
